brainchild of John Brennan, who was inspired
by working with coffee and cocoa farmers in
South America. Blended from three organic
and Fairtrade coffee beans and toasted in
Carrick-on-Shannon, it won the Bord Bia
Award for Best Organic Prepared
Product in 2017. John says, “We use
Arabica beans from Indonesia,
Sumatra Mandheling Raja Gayo
(The King of the Gayo Mountain)
for a rich smooth body, Peruvian
Arabica HB Grade One for
sweetness and a hint of
fruitiness, and finally, a small
amount of Indonesian Flores
Robusta to give it an extra
kick of caffeine.”
