Low pressure water system

You have a cold water tank in your attic and a
hot water tank in your airing cupboard. You can
choose any of our low pressure taps (minimum
operating pressure of 0.1 – 0.5bar).
Low or high pressure
Suitable for low or high pressure
This varies according to the brand
and the model. Your legal rights are

either 1/4 turn or

1. You have a boiler unit but no hot water
cylinder, the boiler unit is usually found
in the kitchen and delivers hot water
2. You have a hot water cylinder with an
expansion vessel on top, usually found
in the airing cupboard, but you do not
have a cold water tank. You should be
able to choose any of our taps.*
* Please note that mains water pressure can vary and may not always be sufficient for some taps. If you are in any doubt, you can check your supply pressure using a water pressure gauge (available at B&Q).
