TIPS & TRICKS
Use an old jar lid as a drip tray to avoid
glue drips falling on unwanted areas.
Alternatively, an old jar works well as a
stand for holding your glue gun while
working on your project.
Don’t hold the glue gun far away from
the object you are gluing, this creates
additional strings of glue. Only use
small amounts of glue.

Leave your glue gun to fully heat up
before using it. The hotter the glue,
the easier it is to work with.

Make sure you allow the glue to dry
fully before moving your project.

When you’re done for the day, but haven’t
finished painting, leave the roller cover on
the roller frame. Wrap the cover in a plastic
bag to create an airtight seal.
TIPS & TRICKS
Make life easy, don’t lug all the furniture out
of the room. Instead, push all the furnishings
into the centre and cover it with dust or
plastic sheets. Tape at the bottom for safety.
This will protect from drops and splatters.
Painters tape is an essential for home decorating,
apply the tape to the trim areas, then run the
putty knife over the tape to firmly press it down
for a good seal to stop any paint bleeds.
Cover your paint bucket, tray, or container with
a damp towel when switching between brushing
and rolling to keep your paint and tools from
drying out when not in use.
