Partnerships We’ve extended our charity partnership until 2024 with Jigsaw, pledging to raise €2.5 million for youth mental health supports . Solar Panels We continue to install solar panels on many stores across the country. We plan to install solar panelling on the roofs of 115 of our stores by 2025. Here at Lidl, we are always working on ways to improve our impact on our communities! Here are some ways we do this: Supporting Biodiversity We have over 30 pollinator-friendly stores. These stores are a little haven for many pollinators due to their friendly wildflowers. Packaging In 2022, we became the first retailer in Ireland to introduce Prevented Ocean Plastic into our fresh seafood products. This prevents almost 19 tonnes of plastic from entering the ocean!
